Bryan’s personal philosophy is to go the extra mile for employees, customers, and business partners. As an Ironman triathlete and marathoner, he knows exactly what that means! Combined with this philosophy, Bryan’s entrepreneurial spirit has propelled Epsilon Systems from its original 1998 Mail Boxes Etc. address to a company with over 1,000 employees and 20 locations around the country.

He and Epsilon Systems have been recognized for various outstanding military, community service, and business achievements, including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the Small Business of the Year awards.

Concurrently with Epsilon Systems, he established the ESSential Foundation, which funds military support organizations, wounded warrior caregivers, international micro-finance, religious, educational, and sports organizations, and programs supporting troubled youth.

Born in South Korea, Bryan came to America in 1972. One of his proudest career accomplishments is having served our nation. Upon completing his NROTC and nuclear power training, he served aboard USS Pogy (SSN-647) and completed his active duty service at Naval Sea Systems Command.

He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California and Virginia Tech, respectively. He also holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Harvard Kennedy School and completed Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management (OPM) Program. Complementing his academic achievements, he has served on numerous business, community, and school boards; he is currently on the boards of Endeavor Bank, USC Viterbi School of Engineering, and San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance.

Bryan resides in San Diego with his wife, Julie, and together they helped co-found a Bible church. They are also the benefactors of the Min Family Challenge, an annual social entrepreneurship engineering competition they helped establish in partnership with USC.

Jim serves as the Senior Vice President of Administration, overseeing Human Resources, Contracts, Purchasing, Security, Information Technology, and Facilities. He joined Epsilon Systems in 2019 as the Director of Contracts and has over 20 years of defense industry experience.

Jim is a strong believer in the “Servant Leadership” philosophy where the leader shares power, puts the needs of employees first, and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible. He also embraces the concept that “Learning by Doing” is the best way to tackle both the opportunities and challenges that come with running the day-to-day operations of any type of entrepreneurial business.

As a San Diego native, Jim loves a wide variety of outdoor activities that are ideally suited to the Southern California climate including hiking, biking, paddleboarding, and strength training. He enjoys frequent trips up the California Coast with his family which includes his wife, daughter, and two golden retrievers. As an avid music buff, Jim loves attending outdoor concerts and music festivals, especially classic and modern rock.

Prior to entering the defense industry, Jim served as an officer in the U.S. Navy and received his commission through the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps at the University of San Diego.

Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University (SDSU), and is a National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Certified Professional Contract Manager.

Away from work, Jim is a part-time faculty member at SDSU’s Global Campus where he teaches contract management courses in support of its professional certificate program which he believes is the perfect platform to share his “Servant Leadership” philosophy and “Learning by Doing” approach.

Alyx Schmidt serves Epsilon Systems as Senior Vice President of Finance. Alyx began her career at Epsilon Systems in 2007, serving in positions including Business Development Associate for the Chief Operating Officer, Program Manager for the company’s largest contract, and Corporate Financial Manager for the Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Alyx served as the Director of Finance responsible for oversight of the financial planning and analysis as well as the rates and budgets functions at Epsilon Systems.

Alyx is a California native. However, her adult education started abroad with a certificate in International Protocol from Institut Villa Pierrefeu in Glion, Switzerland. Upon returning to the U.S., she obtained her undergraduate degree in International Business, followed by a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from San Diego State University.

Throughout her career, Alyx continued to dedicate herself to the defense industry through volunteer work at organizations such as the San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC) and National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). Today, Alyx serves a Past President of the San Diego Chapter of NDIA.

John is driven every day by the duty to exceed our customers’ expectations and the duty we have to the welfare of our employees and their families. As an employee-owned company, we are all in this together and John strives every day to make a difference in the lives of our customers and employees.

John has over 30 years of experience in acquisition and program management, including extensive experience and technical knowledge in program management, contract and financial management, proposal preparation and evaluation, earned value management, value stream mapping, supply chain management, operational logistics, and graduate-level instruction/facilitation. With his 18 years of experience at Epsilon Systems, John sets his focus on the development of the company’s next generation. Having served as an adjunct professor at various colleges for years, he takes the opportunity to share his experience and give back to the organization that took a chance on him years ago.

John is a retired Naval Supply Corps Officer, having served onboard a submarine, cruiser, aircraft carrier, and a deployment supporting the U.S. Army in Bosnia. He holds degrees in economics from the University of Buffalo, masters from the Naval Post Graduate School and is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM). John is a member the Tidewater Community College Management Advisory board. He resides in Virginia Beach, devoted to his family and especially his two grandchildren.

Mike Fabel, a U.S. Navy and defense industry veteran, serves as the Executive Vice President of Epsilon Systems’ Technology and Technical Services. In this role, he oversees Mission Services, Epsilon C5I, Advanced Products, and Technology Solutions.

Prior to joining Epsilon Systems, Mike was Site Executive for the Raytheon facility in San Diego, CA. During his two-decade tenure with Raytheon, he has served in various roles, including engineering, program leadership, business capture lead, as well as Senior Program Manager for the U.S. Navy's Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) program, responsible for development, delivery, and integration of the combat management system used on aircraft carriers and amphibious ships. Part of Raytheon's strategic business development group, Mike led teams responsible for developing and proposing solutions for the United States military and its global allies, providing integrated systems, installation, and training support for maritime surface and subsurface warfare, command and control, combat systems, navigation, and ship integration for naval combatants. He also served as capture manager and program manager for integrated combat systems opportunities with the U.S. Navy, where he led the development of multiple strategic partnerships across the industry to create solutions for international combat systems.

Before joining Raytheon, Mike served for six years as a nuclear-trained submarine officer in the U.S. Navy, completing multiple deployments to the western Pacific. He continued to serve as a reserve submarine officer while working for Raytheon, supporting underway Submarine Advisory Teams and submarine rescue until he retired from the Navy in 2012.

Mike holds an MBA from Chaminade University in Honolulu, HI, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara.

During his free time, Mike enjoys road trips with his family and working on classic cars and motorcycles. He is active with the San Diego Navy League and helps his daughter raise puppies as a volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Bryan Min is the founder and CEO of Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc.

Mr. Min has received various military, business and community leadership honors from organizations such as the United States Congress, the U.S. Navy, and Ernst & Young. Prior to founding Epsilon Systems, he served on active and reserve duty from 1986 to 1998 in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Force.

Mr. Min holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in engineering from the University of Southern California and Virginia Tech, respectively. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management (OPM) Program and earned a Master in Public Administration (MPA) degree at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Complementing his academic achievements, Mr. Min is a Board Member of both profit and non-profit organizations including the University of Southern California’s Viterbi School of Engineering.

Mr. Kautter was one of Epsilon Systems’ original employees, a “plank owner,” joining the company in 1998, where he established Epsilon Systems’ Portsmouth, VA office and managed the Hampton Roads waterfront business. As the former President of the Mission Readiness Group (MRG), he oversaw the company’s ship maintenance and modernization businesses, including its expansion into the areas of hyperbaric and divers’ life support systems and auxiliary power units for helicopters. In February of 2022, after 24 years, Mr. Kautter retired from Epsilon Systems.

Mr. Kautter earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the United States Naval Academy. He has experience as a Senior Reactor Operator and was a qualified Engineering Officer for Naval Nuclear Propulsion Plants. Mr. Kautter has done board work for various organizations, including the Virginia Ship Repair Association (VSRA) and the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association, Hampton Roads Chapter.

Rear Admiral Patrick Moneymaker joined Epsilon Systems in 2011. Prior to joining Epsilon Systems, Mr. Moneymaker was the Chief Executive Officer and President of Proxy Aviation Systems, Inc. and Chairman of Anonymizer, Inc. He has also served as the CEO of Kforce Government Holdings and CEO of Ocean Systems Engineering Corporation. He has more than 40 years of experience in building technology systems and services for government and commercial customers.

Mr. Moneymaker had a distinguished Navy career ultimately retiring as a Rear Admiral. As a Navy fighter pilot, he flew 91 combat missions in Vietnam before hostilities ceased in February 1973. He is a graduate of Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) and served in the premier assignment as leader of the elite Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels. He completed his Navy career as Commander of Naval Space Command in September 1998.

He is a native of San Francisco, Calif., where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of San Francisco.

Mr. Ruh has focused much of his career on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and executing turnaround, restructuring, and efficiency/performance improvement initiatives. He is currently the CFO of FortiFi Financial, Inc., a private equity-backed company headquartered in San Diego that specializes in financing home and commercial property improvements related to foundational/infrastructure upgrades.

Prior to joining FortiFi, Mr. Ruh served as the CFO of HomeStreet, Inc./HomeStreet Bank (Nasdaq: HMST) headquartered in Seattle, WA. He also served as a Managing Director at Commerce Street Investment Management in Dallas, TX; as a Board Director of Mountain Commerce Bancorp (OTCQX: MCBI); as the CFO of Mission Community Bancorp (OTCQB: MISN); as a Vice President at Castle Creek Capital LLC; and as Board Director, President & COO of White River Capital, Inc. (NYSE Amex: RVR).

Prior to his years of experience in the banking, finance, and private equity industries, Mr. Ruh served for five years in the U.S. Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarine Force, with his last year at Mare Island Naval Shipyard.

Mr. Ruh has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, where he received his commission through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) program. He holds two degrees from Northwestern University: A Master of Business Administration (Kellogg School of Management) and a Master of Engineering Management.

Mr. Ruh is a native of Orchard Park, NY. In his free time, he enjoys sailboat racing, fishing, and skiing.

Rear Admiral Jim Beebe provides leadership to several of the Epsilon Systems' strategic business initiatives. As a member of the Navy’s Senior Executive Service (SES), Mr. Beebe previously served as Executive Director, Naval Air Forces, to lead and champion efforts in the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE). Among his many responsibilities was supervising the execution of an annual budget of over $40B, encompassing 11 nuclear powered aircraft carriers, 3,800 aircraft and 180,000 personnel. Additionally, Mr. Beebe oversaw and increased the efficiency of the logistics, training and C4I functions of naval aviation through a critical period of fiscal and operational transition.

During his 32 years of naval service, Mr. Beebe served as a nuclear submarine officer on two ballistic missile submarines, a fast attack submarine and subsequently in flag officer roles as Director, Submarine Reserves, Deputy Commander, Submarine Force U.S. Pacific Fleet and Deputy Commander, Navy Region Hawaii. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS in Ocean Engineering and graduate of the Department of Defense Executive Leadership Program.

Ms. Conti is a highly accomplished professional making significant contributions during her almost decade-long tenure at Epsilon Systems. Most recently, she served as Advisor to CEO and founder Bryan Min and former company President, Pat Moneymaker, with primary responsibilities involving Corporate Strategy and Business Development.

Ms. Conti’s journey in the defense industry began on the Ohio-Class Submarine Command and Control Systems at Electric Boat, General Dynamics, and then at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), both in Newport, RI. She transitioned to the Virginia-Class Submarine design team working in Program Executive Officer (PEO SUBS) at NAVSEA. She moved to Lockheed Martin where she was the Program Manager for the Virginia-Class Non-Propulsions Electronics System (NPES) and later a PM for unmanned systems, retiring as Vice President of Navy Networks. She spent six years at Raytheon in Business Development before becoming leader of their Capture Management Excellence (CMX) program.

For her outstanding work, Ms. Conti has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Meritorious Civil Service Award, multiple NAVSEA Quality Awards and the David Packard Award for Acquisition Reform. She holds both a BS and MBA from the University of Rhode Island and is a Level III Certified Acquisition Professional. She has served as President of Women In Defense (WID) (National) and is currently on the Naval Submarine League Board of Directors.

Beyond her professional achievements, Karen finds joy in traveling with her husband and cherishes quality time with her family.

Jim Doh retired from Qualcomm as Vice Chairman and the head of Qualcomm Asia in 2017 after a 20-year career. Prior to Qualcomm, Mr. Doh held various Sales and Engineering management positions in the IT and Defense industries with prominent companies including Intel and Raytheon. Mr. Doh holds a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University in Massachusetts. Jim Doh and his wife, Grace, have one daughter and split their time between homes in Solana Beach, California, and Seoul Korea.

Dwayne Junker has achieved a distinguished career including experience in both military and commercial organizations. He served for over 30 years in the U.S. Navy, rising through the ranks from enlisted sailor to Master Chief Petty Officer and was commissioned to Lieutenant Commander. After retiring from the Navy, Mr. Junker served as President of Radio Frequency (RF) Microsystems. RF Microsystems was sold in 1997 to Advance Communications Systems Services (ACSS) where Mr. Junker was appointed President. While serving as President at ACSS, he engineered the growth of the company to 800 employees and $92 million in annual revenue. Mr. Junker then oversaw the sale of ACSS to Titan Corporation. At Titan, Mr. Junker merged and operated four of Titan’s major acquisitions as a single operating group with revenues over $103 million and 1100 employees. Prior to his role at Epsilon Systems, Mr. Junker served as President of Antin Engineering, Inc., building the company from four to 62 employees within two years and facilitating the successful sale of the company.
